Newberry Ridge is a 300 acre master planned community located 20 miles west of Gainesville Florida. The site is characterized by rolling topography and clusters of mature oaks. The site was transformed into a 1000 unit mixed use project designed in the neo-traditional style. A town center with 150,000 s.f. of office and retail commercial is designed into the community and will be within walking distance of the residents. A major community park will be the center piece of the community and will provide ball fields, basket ball courts, a playground and a community center. Newberry ridge will be subdivided into 5 neighborhoods. Each neighborhood will be centered on a square that will provide a sense of place within the overall context of the community. Single family homes, townhomes and garden apartments will be incorporated into the design to provide a fully diverse style of living.
