The Polk Nursery property is a mixed use development located on the western edge of the city of Auburndale. The 87-acre site was developed as a mixed-use community consisting of retail commercial, townhomes and single family residential. The total development calls for 400 residential units and a 5 acre neighborhood retail center. The townhomes comprise 170 units and are located next to Polk County Parkway. The single family homes encompass the eastern portion of the site and contain linear parks and trails that connect to the city of Auburndale’s Myrtle Lake Park and Auburndale Bike Trail. A community park serves as the centerpiece of this community and is shared by both residents of the townhomes and single-family communities.
